Professor Tuomas Knowles

Leads work on the physical chemistry and kinetics of biomolecular assembly at Cambridge Chemistry and the Cavendish.

Tuomas Knowles is the 1920 Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge and co-director of the Centre for Misfolding Diseases. His group develops kinetic models and experimental methods for protein self-assembly and soft matter, with applications from neurodegeneration to biomaterials.
